Was in Saudi Arabia1991, you can literally see Cruise Missiles at Night being Fired from Iraq from the Compound. Was working for RSAF. Had wife n 3 kids at the time, was advised to leave by State Dept. during Desert Shield right before Desert Storm🇺🇲🪖 As a Civilian Contractor. Pretty Scary having to fly out of the Country while all this was going on, could have gotten shot down while flying out of the Country on multiple Flights. Didn't feel safe till we got to NYC, then St Louis finally into Texas.SMH

I think those sounds were gun shots not it breaking the sound barrier. If you were there you know that they shoot at anything that flies by even though they don’t have a chance of hitting it. They did on very rare occasions hit choppers and I heard of at least one fighter jet . In Afghanistan they hit a few a brought one down, at least that was the rumor
