there is absolutely no limit to the capacity of the human mind to deceive itself in the face of every intelligent, proven, rational experience and knowledge that it has accumulated over a lifetime of study and experience. Religion is simply selt-deception. It is a pacifier for the confused and frightened, people who are so desperate for comfort they will invent it and believe in it. Incredible. To believe that the writings of tent-people 2000+ years ago based on pagan myths passed on orally for 1000's of years before then are true? THAT is the only REAL mystery.
