OLD SCHOOL!! This is why parents today are scared of their kids and let them run the house. I don't know any kids paying the bills or taking care of the house, then the parents wonder why they talk to them any kind of way.
Do you not see what is happening in this country? I really think it’s from gentle parenting and parents trying to be friends with kids. I spanked my son five times his entire life and they were for dangerous situations. Mutual respect is good but don’t let kids run the house. My very experienced opinion.
Old school. All kids need a good ass whooping when they Need it!!
Old school spare the rod spoil the child

Not a fan of gentle parenting...at all
truthfully this is a discussion you should have had before you said I do and made those sweet little babies. but there's some times when I pop on that little button is very effective. as a parent of multiple children and a foster parent and an adoptive parent I can tell you that sometimes you can firmly say no sir or no ma'am and they don't do it in fact I had one little grandson if I wiggle my finger and said no sir he cried instantly and then he obeyed. and then I've had some that you had to pop the bottom and I will go a little further I've had some as teenagers but I left them spend the night and juvenile. just as adults all of us have a different way of being disciplined and I do not mean beat be right or neglect I simply mean discipline.
No spanking, Time out chair works just fine
