Is there a reason why you didn't just cut the whole thing off to begin with? What is the point of making all the cuts in it to end up with a stub at the end anyway?

Why not just snip it off at the base? You don't really need a thumbtack, or all the extra scissor work...
magnets are already a problem for kids ingesting them. 🤔 Add them to a pinkie? NOT a good idea, a terrible idea.

Besides the stupidity of ridiculous cuts, gluing a tiny button magnet on a baby pacifier is downright dangerous. If it falls on the floor, a toddler will put it in his mouth and can choke to death!
cut it off. That other stuff is just wasted time.
Hopefully a child will not push a chair up to the fridge and get that pacifier and try to put it in their mouth and chew that magnet off and swallow it because that could really be bad news if swallowed. I hate to be the one thinking negatively because it’s adorable but it is a possibility.

I did those incremental cuts to my baby's pacifier - one day at a time - to get her off her binky. it worked beautifully.
