if a baby should be off a bottle by a year old then they should be off a boob by the same time. breastfeeding for that length of time only benefits the mom who doesn't want to let her child grow up. it does nothing good for the child who is tearing up their tooth placement from suckling. same thing with pacifiers. if you really think they still need boob milk at 3 then pump and put it in a cup for them
They say breast milk is more healthier than formula. Then you don't have to wash bottles and bibs and all that. So the longer she feeds this way, the better.

i breastfed all 4 of my children, and not one time did them nursing EVER feel like a man's mouth on my breasts, so I've never understood why people compare the 2 when they see a baby THEY think is nursing too long.
