I am so very sorry my son at 16 months old had a febrile seizure so scary and I was not even aware this could happen please keep educating everyone on this and I will pray for you and your healing
Are they stupid, a seizure is always concern for a small child. I would not go to that hospital & look for no.1 Neurologist for Peds....but you need a second opinion.

I am so sorry for the loss of you little sweet angel. this is why co- sleeping is SO BENEFICIAL mom gets alerted to these things. if babies are sleeping alone in another room you'll never know something is wrong unless you are literally staring at a baby monitor all night. if they are sleeping next to you I guarantee mothers instinct will kick in and you'll sense something wrong or feel them.

PLEASE can I share my story. My son was exactly your son’s age when he suddenly had a febrile seizure. At the time I was in school for medical assisting and had 2 other children. Came home from work I knew he was sick but I gave him medicine rocked him to sleep and went to bed. I was woken up by a weird noise in my room it was my son convulsing. My Husband held him the whole time shaking I called 911 but something told me to take him outside in the winter snow. I didn’t know what was happening I just wanted him to snap out of it. So scary.. he was saved but we took shifts sleeping and he slept in our room until he was 6… 5 months after his febrile seizure he almost had another one in the middle of the night. I was able to catch it in time because that night into the morning was MY shift to make sure he was okay while sleeping. The scariest situations make you do the strangest things. I’m so sorry about your child and how does one go on after losing a child?

My nephew had seizures when he was little & got a fever. Dr's gave him meds to take & that was almost 50 yrs ago.
Such a beautiful bright angel boy. I can't imagine how devastating such a loss would be .My heart goes out to his mama. Thank you for raising awareness. Your little one was absolutely darling . 😞

I'm so sorry, my baby went S.T.A.T and was intubated for several hours from a seizure. usually she had febrile. they told me that one was A-febrile but no known causes. She has had so many hardships due to seizures. She is alive but because of bully's in school she doesn't advocate in fear of being ridiculed and teased which has happened so many times. it's sad that this world is so superficial and cruel. praying for you, prayers for a peace that passes all understanding. I'm so so sorry for your family loss😞

Thank you for the video. It's heartbreaking but brings awareness about fevers in children, as well it can happen to adults, people need awareness of what high fevers can do & cause. Also how seizures can be. A seizure alone can kill. My cousin died from an epileptic seizure, she had epilepsy which caused the seizure. Seizures are caused by misfiring in the brain. If a person suddenly starts having them, it's best to always find out the cause
