I’ve lived in South Louisiana my whole life. I’ve been through all of the hurricanes since 1959. People become complacent in situations like that and refuse to leave or don’t have the means to leave. It’s not like a tornado, they warn days in advance to leave. The ones who decided to stay paid the price.
I remember it , I lived it, and I survived it. He was right , but there was many babies in that water. There was many more on the bridge
