What was this recorded by if the first phone with a camera wasn’t created until may 1999
LMAO bet that was a Nokia 🤷
that's the worse place you can go
🌪 🩶
This one of the first tornadoes to go viral before viral
worst thing to do is under the bridge would in hail u like a straw.:(
Your description doesnt seem to match what we saw. 😳
Why wouldn’t you just drive away from it
scary
people shouldn't be allowed to live inkansas
Passed around you guys
they got lucky it was a small tornado,if it was an f3 or bigger they would've went to OZ
I could have side stepped that little twister, if not just stayed in my car and kept driving
I wish they had a dog!! 🐕🐕😂
It’s better than staying in the open, so get covered wherever you can
Me next
That was a Chrysler Conquest TSI!
To be fair, these people were only grazed. A direct hit to this overpass would have sucked everybody out for sure.
Really you’re scared of that little tornado that y’all have to stop and hide whenever won’t even catch up to you
Just missed you guys
do not go under the over pass I repeat do not do it it is more dangerous than laying in a ditch debris will fly through there fast enough to cut you in half
So why don't you do that? looks like it saved their lives
They lived because they decided to go up under the bridge. There’s millions of homeless people that sleep under bridges like this because of this reason right here.
No it’s NOT a cellphone being used to record! Instead, we had VHS CAMCORDERS back in those days….. 📼📹
Common sense
'When a major twister hit Huntsville i the early 70's I ran my truck up as far as I could under an overpass and crawled up as far as I could fit. it was noisey, lots of crap flying around but myself and 4 others never got hurt and my truck never got a scratch. It was an expierience for sure 1
They didn't have cellphone cameras in 1991
What not to do? They survived, car didn't!
Looks good to me.
😥
I remember when this happened
no cell phone with camera in 91
That was real I seen it a long time ago
this not ai this actually happened
I think they’re talking about him recording aren’t they what not to do
By the grace of God they got their right on time!👏🏽♥️🙏🏽
Not a very smart thing to do! Why do people say to hide up here?
Can't believe it didn't hurt the cars
it seem they survived
What is that a F-12
whoever recording give em a medal
It’s a camecorder lmao
The reason why you shouldn’t do this whenever there is a tornado approaching is because underneath the bridge it kind of creates basically a vacuum that sucks you out. If and when the tornado is strong enough even if you’re parking your car underneath the bridge. The wind is more direct underneath it making the force of the wind stronger
At night, I can understand because you can’t see where to go, but during the day, that’s just dumb. Get in your car and leave.
You mean “ What to do when a tornado is approaching “! Your title is all wrong!😂😂😂
why is that video so much better then what we got today?
U in a car why not turn around and go the other way
I've done that exact same thing many times being from the Midwest and was never hurt I have been caught in a car that was picked up turned around and set back down I prefer the overpass
tge wind didn't intensify under the overpass. That is stupid and completely untrue. Getting under that overpass saved their lives. It was tge exact correct thing to do and to sayvothetwuse is ignorant stupidity
