worst thing to do is under the bridge would in hail u like a straw.:(
What was this recorded by if the first phone with a camera wasn’t created until may 1999
That was a Chrysler Conquest TSI!
LMAO bet that was a Nokia 🤷
Why wouldn’t you just drive away from it
😥
scary
that's the worse place you can go
I wish they had a dog!! 🐕🐕😂
I could have side stepped that little twister, if not just stayed in my car and kept driving
So why don't you do that? looks like it saved their lives
🌪 🩶
No it’s NOT a cellphone being used to record! Instead, we had VHS CAMCORDERS back in those days….. 📼📹
They didn't have cellphone cameras in 1991
It’s better than staying in the open, so get covered wherever you can
Just missed you guys
they got lucky it was a small tornado,if it was an f3 or bigger they would've went to OZ
Me next
Passed around you guys
I think they’re talking about him recording aren’t they what not to do
What not to do? They survived, car didn't!
Looks good to me.
To be fair, these people were only grazed. A direct hit to this overpass would have sucked everybody out for sure.
Really you’re scared of that little tornado that y’all have to stop and hide whenever won’t even catch up to you
This one of the first tornadoes to go viral before viral
do not go under the over pass I repeat do not do it it is more dangerous than laying in a ditch debris will fly through there fast enough to cut you in half
They lived because they decided to go up under the bridge. There’s millions of homeless people that sleep under bridges like this because of this reason right here.
Your description doesnt seem to match what we saw. 😳
people shouldn't be allowed to live inkansas
This is a job for….
Common sense
By the grace of God they got their right on time!👏🏽♥️🙏🏽
Why does it say "what not to do when a tornado is approaching" at the beginning? Seems like a decent spot to take shelter
I remember when this happened
That was real I seen it a long time ago
no cell phone with camera in 91
For those of you who don’t understand physics allow me to put this in layman’s terms it will yank your ass right back out if you go under an overpass
Weaning out the ol gene pool
Why in the hell didn’t they just drive off? They had cars. They had time
as long as you pull yourself up in the girders you're fine. been there done that
This is exactly what you should do if your caught in the open by a tornado
this not ai this actually happened
'When a major twister hit Huntsville i the early 70's I ran my truck up as far as I could under an overpass and crawled up as far as I could fit. it was noisey, lots of crap flying around but myself and 4 others never got hurt and my truck never got a scratch. It was an expierience for sure 1
It will suck right out of there.
Seems like they did the right thing to me. I think you're fairly safe if you're way up underneath the overpass.
Good coverage! I wonder if one has ever turned and came back?
why TF would u head to the side the tornado is on ?!!
what's the alternative? Lay down in the field?
