Good thinking. Start with little toy bank then work up to learning how to count ones, fives, 10’s. Hide it where only mom knows where it is with the child. When it gets up to $100 if it ever does take them to the bank to learn what savings accounts are and how they make money grow. Yes I know it’s like a measly 2 to 3%. But it is a start. Never take the money for yourself for booze or cigarettes. It’s mine for your child(ren).
