I don't get section 8 but I am freaking poor with three kids. so we shouldn't be going after the poor people ... we should be going after the people that are making the cost of living so high. and it is not from government housing. not a lot of ur tax money goes to that. a lot of your tax money goes to making government officials rich. very rich.. and they're the ones blaming the very poor.

All the things that were done to our ancestors, we should be able to let children inherit a roof over their heads whether it’s a section “8” apartment or any roof over a family’s head. We never received reparations but I can name other races that did. If a poor parent can leave their children a roof over their head in this economy, that will save them from sleeping on the streets, because things are going to get worse!😲😲😲

Does this mean after living in a section 8 house or apartment for two years you would earn enough money to be able to afford housing without assistance. I don't know anyone that it took only two years to be to become that financially stable. Two raise in 2 year would have to be a lot to make the jump from being 130 percent over the poverty guide line to being financially independently enough to pay a mortgage or rent. If people are to be pulled from poverty there must be a real effort to provide education, training, job opportunities to everyone.
