So if his ballroom is “under budget,” and simultaneously over what was first announced, what was the actual budget when it was first announced? As far as the funding for this project is concerned, there hasn’t been, to my knowledge, any information presented as to the number and amount of donations received, and how many pledges to donate are as yet unfulfilled. I don’t know why this is so. trump is notorious for bragging about his “accomplishments,” yet is very quiet in this area. Additionally, all I’ve seen about donors is somewhat vague, I think. The reports I have seen are of various corporate entities that are “among” the donors. I don’t know how many or who is donating that has not been revealed. trump has stated that presidents have asked for a White House ballroom for 150 years, but there’s no reporting that any previous President has made such a request.
