I'm all for having people who show signs of mental distress having their guns held onto until they calm down, if they calm down. But, if person A gets mad at person B and calls the cops and says person B is acting crazy, person B could have their guns taken away even if they are not doing anything crazy.

Democrats are all about gun control, if they had their way they'd have taken all guns a long time ago.. now you're crying that Trump wants to take guns from mentally ill people who are feared to be a danger to themselves or others.. with a process already in place to potentially get them back.. yes, these things could go sideways.. judges may end up keeping the guns all the time, or people may get people committed fraudulently, so hopefully these things are kept in check.. but ultimately, mentally unstable people without guns for the time of their instability sounds fair to me
Don't let law enforcement decide if they should have them. let College educated qualified people make that decision. Cops arnt smart enuf to put their shoes on the right feet or tie their shoe laces let alone decide if a person should keep their gun.
