For anyone else who was as clueless as I was about what aroace refers to: Aroace is a term for someone who is both aromantic and asexual, experiencing little to no romantic or sexual attraction to others. It combines "aro" (aromantic) and "ace" (asexual), representing a spectrum of identities where individuals may still feel other forms of attraction, such as platonic or aesthetic. You're welcome! I'm curious if this person still considers themselves aroace since they've hit puberty and into adulthood? I would suspend most younger kids fall into this category until they are teens. 🤔
