I think we need to re-examine the facts: The homeowner was not protecting only his property. He was protecting his PERSON and his property. At his age he is quite vulnerable and it’s completely conceivable that he could be killed by the three intruders. The killing seems absolutely justified.
The parents should be held accountable for the actions of their children. Where were the parents when those kids were out roaming the streets looking for someone to rob? Hold parents accountable... JS
This means that the law allows people to come and burgle our home and we have no right to defend ourselves.
