That’s because that method the girl right that doesn’t really work that answer was already set up for that math made no sense and you can try them anyways you want there’s no way you come to the answer for doing that she did

South Koreas math looks line tue US. If you do it the fast way back when I was in school they docked you the points and said it was wrong. However my lazy ass wanted to do them the fastest way possible.
this is a false premise. that "Chinese" problem solving method only works on very very few problems this way.

I think it's ok that We as humans do We may learn from each other and make life more prostieguos for all . There is no sense in locking people for minor mistakes for years for profit
so you have the two numbers 97 and 94 she draws a three under the 97 and a 6 under the 94... these are the numbers needed in order to make the above numbers an equal 100.. add the below numbers together you get the 9.... diagonal line from 97 to the 6 represents 7 - 6 = 1 there is your first 1 following the nine.. multiply the below numbers to get 18. and that my friends is how you get 9,118 out of that equation ....Chinese style... took me 10 minutes to stare at this equation and figure it out I could be completely wrong🤣🤣
