In this case they should lose the privilege of caring and badge for 5%2B years at the minimum. He should be paid a minimum of $100,000 with 75% from the LEO'S personnel assets.

Sometimes the right thing to do is to use your emergency lights and call 911 if you are in a real emergency and need to rush to the hospital. The police can then be notified and provide assistance. That is my opinion.
