The incident, captured on both a helmet camera and police dashcam/body camera, led to a police investigation and public outcry. Shortly after the incident and the conclusion of the investigation, Officer Figueroa was reportedly promoted to sergeant.

I read the article. He was put on administrative leave for a very short time and had no disciplinary action and is back on patrol. This is disgusting. This is technically assault. None of them were breaking the law or committing a crime and for the people saying they were going too fast past an officer you don’t know that go read the article lol I hate when people make ignorant comments based off of a short clip. This officer what he did was disgusting you don’t pepper spray people who are currently driving and operating a motor vehicle and yes, a motorcycle is considered a motor vehicle that could have caused so many accidents or deaths. I hope this officer somehow gets relieved of his duty or karma, comes around, tenfold either one will do that could have caused mass casualties if it got into a riders eyes and they crashed into all of those other bikes !! He is disgraceful he obviously didn’t take his oath seriously!!!!

I've seen the bandidos bikers when they spot the Texas highway patrol they tone down there speed and pipes knowing to respect the law, these local riders try to intimidate law enforcement and get a reaction for better or wost due to no upstanding of the laws

there's a law that when an emergency vehicle or tow truck is stopped on the side of the road you move over to the next lane and reduce speed, however apparently they didn't think you needed to be able to read or have a drivers license to go play with the motorcycle
