No! Not acceptable. As nursing professionals, it is our responsibility, under oath, to provide aid, comfort & care to every patient regardless of race, color, creed or religious affiliation. This is NOT acceptable! Document: name, date, time, sequence of events & report to nurse manager and I would cc the medical director and hospital CEO, just in case the report gets 'lost'.🤔

Sweetheart, regardless of the immigrant situation, your brother’s health, under the circumstances, is priority. You are an amazing advocate for him. She took an oath to help take care of those under medical care. She needs to take a few days off to reset.

Ask for a different nurse and let them know she is being rude. Ask for the head of the hospital . That is so not ok
Nice way to go bro, very calm and collected. They could have had a real street type brother, then the story would have been different.
Sometimes people of color get treated differently. They don't care about what happens to you. They take their time. I have a similar incident.With a family member ,nurse was so rude and of course I filed a complaint against her if they get so many complaints , they will get fired.
