I've been to PR many times. Just because they have citizenship for being a common wealth does not make it any where near The USA. Its so different there on every level. I personally love it! But they have a VERY corrupt government!!
Then support yourself..no more money from the USA.
That is the same attitude that has kept PR from becoming a state in the past! Now because they can't afford to keep being independent they want to be a state!🤔 With that attitude be a Puerto Rican on a island of squalor with zero help from the US when the next hurricane hits or the power goes out! Nothing to be proud about when all you do is have your hand out!🤔 Stay classy PR🙏

First i born in puerto rico in the 60s this generation that born in usa are not original boricuas, but since i came to usa, this is my home i got a career and business all over the world, in Puerto rico I was poor people bullying me for been poor no shoes to school teachers making fun of me, so ain't go nothing to thank Puerto Rico, I'm united states citizen and very proud for have the opportunity to live the American dream!

Puerto Ricans are actually not Americans they have America citizenship of course but there are millions of people in the United States of America that are citizens of this country but they're not American, they're immigrants from whatever part of the world their parents and grandparents fled from, the only true Americans are actually Foundational Black because we're the only people that were here before their was a United States of America and we built the country from scratch and White Americans who conquered the land everyone else is a fleeing immigrant that fled to America for financial considerations not for the love of> 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲.

When I was in the military. I served with several troops from different walks of life. I can honestly say Mexican, Cuban, Puerto Rican and troops from Guam all looked alike. Just like Korean, Japanese and Chinese Americans serving. How ever we were all AMERICAN. PS: Never call or mistake a Mexican for a Cuban. Could get you extra KP duties in basic training. 😆
