If the truck had his turn signals on, the vehicle trying to sneak by is at fault.

He may have had it on but, I did not hear a blinker. I have never driven a semi that I couldn’t hear, clearly, the blinker and I have had more than my share of that crap.

He got T-Boned, while making a Right turn on a two lane road. That is almost definitely the SUV driver's fault. 1. Speeding. 2. Failure to yield. 3. Driving on the shoulder. 4. Weaving. and finally 5. Leaving the scene of an accident from the looks of things.
I hate to tell you , but the truck driver was at fault. Once you leave your lane fully You have lost control of the lane which means any one Passes you on the right. And it's one hundred Percent you're a fault.

I drive a truck and its a wide turn i can cross double lines to pull in a small driveway he did nothing wrong the driver tried to speed past its obvious he sped up to beat by him

If proper signal was used the only charge he could get would be for failure to signal, And the car would still be at fault for reckless driving and reckless endangerment because of the othe vehicles that were waiting for the trucker to turn. trucker drives home, Car is in the back of a squad car.

Trucker was cruising, if you need to make a wide turn like that, you need to slow down. If you have a trailer, you have to use the trailer to block the right lane so this doesn't happen. This kind of wreckless driving makes me think that no turn indicator was used either.

I don't know who they hired to teach people to drive but they've never taught anybody how to drive properly they don't teach you how to turn around and look out the back look all the way to the right when you're going to make a right turn in all kind or a left to see if there's anything coming up they don't follow any basic rules they just it's like that cartoon with a Chinese lady continue Justin Bieber okay I'm going to make a right turn good luck to everybody and she proceeds to make a right turn from the left lane the quality of these people that they have to teach people to drive are terrible they don't know how to teach people how to obey the rules of the road that's why people get into accidents

It's called don't try to pass the truck making a right turn on the right shoulder. You can plainly see he's not even in the lane of travel. He is on the shoulder of the road trying to pass the semi. Look in the right side truck mirror, you can see him coming up like a bad out of hell on the right side of that white line.
Car was definitely a dumbass, but the semi tried to make that turn quick so he wouldn’t have to wait for the oncoming traffic. The safe bet would have been to slow down and stop before the turn, wait for oncoming traffic to clear, then make the turn. A few extra seconds of patience and the whole thing doesn’t happen.
obviously he wasn't using a blinker otherwise the car behind thinks he's just turning early to avoid breaking, but you should never pass on the right side in a single lane road, so both could be at fault in the eyes of the law..
as long as he was using his blinker he was in the right. it is not illegal to pass on the right but the Saturn was obviously speeding. comes down to paying attention.

its called a jug handle turn which is a maneuver practiced by commercial drivers who have limited turn space. its never recommended! a button hook turn should always be utilized. both could be at fault.
depends if the truck driver was using their blinker, either way that other car should not have been driving on the shoulder even if blinker wasn't being used by the trucker
Car is at fault. Trucker signaled the turn but has to swing wide and dumb ass 4 wheeler went around instead of just letting truck make turn and caused the accident
Like I seen in the comments the right mirror paints a completely different story you. The driver would’ve known someone is coming if he paid attention. Yes he was doing a wide turn but most truck drivers I’ve seen don’t cross the solid yellow lines unless they are sure no one is there.

I was the idiot who didn't perceive a wide turn once. I was still learning to drive and it freaked me out.
I'm not sure why but it seems California people and Yankees got this all wrong.
