It was not 200 mph it was 140ish. Crashed later and smacked in to a utility pole. Kid lived but was not walking g away from it by any means.
The attempt at throwing spike strips at a vehicle moving at that rate of speed is insane and should be considered as deadly force. Deadly force that may be deadly for the driver and occupants of the vehicle, but also to other motorists or citizens in the area. The driver will lose control and very possibly careen into other vehicles traveling in the opposite lane, or drift into a home with residents, or a business adjacent to the roadway. There's a lot that could go wrong at that rate of speed. Too many unknown and dangerous variables.

Sometimes you just need to know when to throw in the towel! After 29 years in law enforcement I would have never even attempted to try and stop them because when they crash and kill an innocent person or themselves do you know who it is that gets sued for use of excessive speed? The law enforcement agencies and officers! Let them go and pray that they smarten up and take their foot off that accelerator before someone dies!

I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk with a hellcat engine in it. Let me tell you good luck catching up. But there's no fucking way on a regular road he's going 200 mph, the max speed on the dial for a long period of time, before he kills someone or himself.
