They were stopped to take wedding pictures. As sad and unfortunate as it is, this is where common sense and natural selection come into play… because who would stop in a tunnel right around a curve?

This specific tunnel in Jordan is a truck only tunnel. Apparently its commonplace in Jordan prior to weddings that family and guests basically parade behind a bride and groom on their way to a wedding venue. This group of cars was stopped illegally in the tunnel for pictures and celebration

And THIS is literally one of my number one nightmares for driving. THANKS A LOT. BECAUSE I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANY KIND OF CONFIRMATION OF THIS HAPPENING. And now here it is on a freaking Friday morning to me there is very few things scarier than a huge pile up inside of a tunnel like that because how the hell are emergency responders supposed to get to you?!

the truck driver was going way to fast for that road...it's in the city and most cities have no more than 45mph...even that would have been to fast. But it wouldn't have been so bad. I imagine he didn't hit his brakes for 2 reasons the truck would have jack knife and shock.
