The person in the car filming is wrong. Plenty of time to brake. They weren’t turning they were changing lanes and you rear ended them.

OP has a problem now for not avoiding the accident. If not totally their fault it's at a least contributory action (or, in this case, inaction) with each responsible for their own vehicle damages. Grey car drives away? May be more charges coming their way for leaving the scene.

Buick was screwing up, but the POV car rear ended it while it was stopped. POV cars fault.
“Why are you breaking?” So she saw the break lights but because she didn’t think there was a good reason for it, she hit him. She’s not there to administer “traffic justice.” You always have to assume there will be idiots on the road, just don’t become one yourself.

You have to drive defensively. Watching the car next to this person was going slower and this driver didn’t seem to be slowing when seeing the car in front with break lights on and the weather condition should of been a sign to slow speed. I’d have definitely been going slower with the weather and watching to cars around me.

Regardless of whom is wrong here, you should have slowed down and instead you rear ended her/him. So you’re at fault. Your license should be revoked honestly.

Same exact thing happened to me the other day but the person didn't even signal they just crossed the solid line then abruptly stopped at the green light I stopped but slid and hit them I was doing exactly 10 miles an hour cause I knew they where gonna do something dumb smdh
