A trophy means different things to different hunters. Some are meat hunters others also enjoy hunting the older, wiser game animals. In my opinion you should never waste the meat. My family enjoys wild game so we eat what we harvest. There are programs where you can donate the meat to feed the hungry. Waste not want not!
