The wife and I ,own 360 acres in prime elk country,been there 40 years,I’m a hunter,but I’ve never taken a elk off our property,it’s a sanctuary and they know it,they will hole up in the timber patches during hunting season,love hearing the bulls bugle in September rut,we had 2 huge bulls fight in our backyard,taking out a clothesline,knocking over our woodpiles,tearing up our garden,they reward us with sheds,we have literally hundreds of sheds in our barn,as I’ve gotten older,the desire to hunt has declined
