yeah this strange. everyone released in street clothes? i did 4 years and was released in standard prision release clothes.
Brother let me tell you ain't to many of us who can do a long stretch and come home Im glad to see other brother come out on top WE survived all the prison riots all them times locked up in seg eating garbage taking bird baths now never look to what you left behind see what's in front of you cause its a brand new day and seeing the sunrise from the outside its a feeling you cant buy or trade for it bless you

I didn't do 20 but I've done enough to know how it feels to come out of those prison Gates twice. spent mostly all of my 20s in the system and then do a lot learned a lot met a lot of wonderful people in the lowest places that got a bad name just because of bad circumstances. thank God for keeping me free safe and productive these last 12 years 1/2 years. Congratulations to brother watch over him keep him safe and bless him with opportunity and Future

My son has another 10, and I haven't seen either one of my sons due to personal issues in 6 years .I pray everyday God brings them home before I take my last breath π I miss them so much π’ so many sleepless nights. There may be heart and soul, and I have three more out here, but my youngest son's out of state living also and two daughters that have families and so forth .So you enjoy life, sir, because you got another chance and im so happy that you are blessed to be free .If you knew my story. If I had someone to write it my boy or boys may be home idk π€·ββοΈ but I just have to keep praying π it's in God's hands π IF it's his will .I'll see them again .Any God bless you many blessings sir .

And as far as all of the negative comments, our men get long prison terms for crimes that other men get a slap on the wrist or probation for. it always has been and always will be disproportionate penalties for us. and we all know it. and besides that, you without sin, cast the first stone. the Bible clearly advised you NOT TO JUDGE because the same measuring cup you use, will be used against you. Absorb that.

Congratulations ππ½ππ½ππ½ππ½ππ½ππ½ππ½ππ½ Iβm so Happy for you your dad and your family. My son has been gone for 16 years, they gave him 25. For murder NO, Rape NO, Robbery NO, Someone Hurt NO, CarJacking NO, Assault NO, Drugs NO, stealing but because he has been in and out of jails for stealing. Our Black Men donβt stand a chance. Was he an Angel no but for stealing. I was literally sick when I found out my sons didnβt let me know for years. Iβm 70 now I hope to be able to see him on the outside before my life is over with that would make my Heart so Happy. People donβt understand when you have a loved one incarcerated how much it takes a toll on your mental and physical health.
I pray the life his new life is amazing and full of family love.
