A German Messersmitt ME262 jet in WW2 they was considered fast but not worth a shit
If Hitler would not have invaded Russia, with their advanced technology, including being weeks away from developing a nuclear weapon, we would all be speaking German by now. Not my preference of course, but we as a nation were lagging seriously behind. Thank the Dear Lord and the American fighting man that we were victorious,
Patton was right, we fought the wrong people and backed the wrong ones.
And it made no difference in the outcome of the war.
