i carry a .22 for self defense laugh all you want, it has already saved my butt in a shot out situation I was caught in, and it saved my life, those who think 22 is not reliable self defense think again a 22 bounces off bone and travels every bouncing around, in my situation I was in, the guy got hit in thigh they found the .22 in his large intestine and everything in between was torn and covered in shrapnel lead. yes I was taken to police dept questioned and everything and once deemed self defense I was let go no jail cell, no gun confiscation, nothing like that, but you best make sure the intruder has a gun and shoots first
