Have a banner made thanking everyone in her neighborhood and post it in her yard with stakes so they all can see. If what I caught in your 90mph talking is correct, and your husband is a former student of hers, then have him present her with a dozen roses, message her some how to be casually dressed, and take her out to dinner! Problem Solved! 🤔🤣🫵🫵🤠🇺🇸 Just a Texas Rancher who’s been there done that!

I’d call your local news station & tell your story. If it’s a small town, they’d be more than happy to share it on the news. Also, I’d definitely take her out to lunch and/or dinner. 💕
Take her to lunch or invite her for dinner for a later date especially if she lives alone. See if she wants to walk too. Also cut strips of decorative paper and write or stamp thank you for treating early for the girls to hand to the participants. Let them wear their costumes to the game, who cares if they wreck them when they only wear it once, and maybe a local establishment hands out candy to diners after the game.
