Some people really need to have some forced experiences for them to realize they don't have to be deathly afraid of dogs. I grew up with large dogs - and I've also met tons of other dogs, I am WAY more cautious around those lil yappers like Chihuahuas, Yorkies and Maltese than I am around big dogs. It's the little ones you gotta watch out for!

Oh hell no! This is so irresponsible. It's not always the dog's behavior you have to worry about. This couple looked terrified & could've made a move the dog found aggressive. Dogs also sense fear. The dog is gorgeous, but he's intimidating, especially being such a stigmatized breed. As a dog mom of 7, I support LEASHED animals in public, but this couple also has a right to ride an elevator without a strange, loose, massive dog. Regardless of how well trained you can't train society & I'd never put my dogs in a situation with potential harm.
Dogs can smell fear so always act normal.

some people are uncomfortable with big dogs all we can do is be good owners to our four legged buddies and just be excepting of it cause it just takes one bad owner to kill it for the rest of us and he should have had him on a leash especially in crowded areas it gives people a some sense of security sround any dog that their under control.

I've had large breed dogs all my life, 9 times out of 10, they are really gentle and very well trained. But, you must ask permition to touch, never assume anything around a dog!!!
