I wonder if the dragging of her hind quarters is from when she was hit by the car 2 days prior to finding her. I had a daschund thar had jumped off of a couch and broke her back. We had the surgery and she was pinned back together. She went from dragging her back end like bunny to being able to run and use all 4 limbs and her surgery was 72° after hurting her back. Yes, I was aware of not letting daschunds jump off of furniture and such, but if you've ever had a do you you know they do whatever they want to. Especially if it's the mail man, UPS or FedEx deliveries. She could hear their vehicle and was at the front door guarding her house before they were even out of their trucks.
