Dachshunds are the sweetest dogs ever unless they are fighting amongst themselves...usually over food, jealously or trying to be the alpha dog. My late sister and brother in law raised Weiner dogs their entire adult lives. At one time the had 4 generations of weiners. They grew up in an atmosphere of love, little discipline and there is now only 2 dog living. His name is Cuervo and is 16.5 years old. He does what he wants at all times and sleeps a lot. He is precious... 💕🙏👍🥰

I may only have two. But when I get compliments on how they mind, off the leash that's great. Especially at the groomers when I do not like my two full size German Shepards are being held in cages. I understand the reasoning. I teach my dogs to mind and the groomer, without my knowledge let them move around in the closed off grooming area. Complimented their minding big time. I do not abuse my dogs I use a brown paper bag to discipline them with. A bag full of air.
