they used the swat armored truck that has a 10ft pole on front with a grappling hook attached and they drive it through a door wall or in this case a garage door. however they didn't realize that tesla was right there so the hook went through garage door and into the tesla and when they reversed to pull garage door down/off it came with a tesla lol. Thats 99.99% correct as my statement above. however there is a 0.01% chance that the tesla was trying to kill the guy so they hooked it to restrain it from attacking while they rescued the guy
