Research is necessary to protect all species of the oceans. We have a captain who regularly catches LARGE sharks inclusive of Great Whites. He tags and releases and if already tagged reports the catch and identification info to the agency that uses it to help these giants thrive. Emotions are useless without full knowledge of the complete story😎
This is Marine Research team trying to study the Mantia Ray's. Blood sample's and other tests are taken. There have been mass deaths of these species along the Florida coast. This is why they have a tank and equipment to keep the Mantia Ray alive to study and why their dying. Everyone assumes the worst, when Marine Research is trying to protect them.

Not everything is some outrageous abuse story — sometimes it’s science, research, or conservation. They clearly had proper gear and handled the manta ray carefully, which means it was likely part of a legitimate study or collection for an aquarium. People love to visit aquariums and marvel at marine life but have zero understanding of how those animals get there in the first place. Stop letting emotion cloud logic. Not every video is a call for outrage — maybe try actually paying attention before jumping on a bandwagon.
