Halibut is really good eating. We caught our limit on a trip to Alaska & brought a ton home plus we ate a ton of it while in Alaska. My favorite is grilled but you can fry it too. Very solid like steak, very while, & no strong fish taste. Amazingly good.

Born and raised in Alaska, halibut is good, so much better fish here other than salmon as well.

My first ever commercial fishing in Southeast Alaska we were longlining for Halibut on a 24 hour opener we caught a monster Halibut that weighed 365 pounds.Never seen a fish that big before that day and I still haven't seen another fish in person that big ever.I was 16 or 17 years old and now I'm 56.Wont ever forget that.
I really like to see just you by yourself going to pull that big old ass fish on up out of that water and put it on that little heirloom or whatever you want to call that miniature boat I don't know but anyway I think you need a crew to pull him up out of that water but I ain't the one that gossip you know I but you know if it was me I have to holler for help because I know I couldn't do that and I'll be tired as f*** in the fish will get away if I had to pull it and keep pulling and heat sinking in the water and coming back up if I was you holler for help somebody come if you give him a couple of pieces off of that Okay have a wonderful day🤔
