Why the hell would you boil bacon?
No ma'am and no sir, you DON'T BOIL THAT CUT OF BACON. You either pan fry or bake that bacon. If that was salt bacon, then you boil it first, pan fry, and add to some collard greens or down south veggies or just eat it. 😁

Omg .. You ruined a pound of bacon by boiling the flavor out of it. You now have a fatty soggy piece of meat. 🤢 And you shouldn't put any grease down a sink because it hardens up inside the pipes and clogs them. Very expensive to get a plumber out to scrape all that garbage out of the drain lines.

no grease or oil of any kind she be put down the drain. I recently bought an older home and have to have a plumber come out and clean out the line as the sink clogs and will only unclog temp if boiling water is poured down. we've tried every hack Imaginable and every kind of drain cleaner, unclogger with no success. when they looked down there it's completely compacted with a giant grease ball

bacon grease hardens
BOIL it with onion spices for 20 min. Take out. air fry or deep fry = CHICORONES. pork belly meat is best. Eat with guacamole, yummm.
