I really enjoyed this video. I saved a baby one from my cat once. The little guy just latched onto my shirt & wouldn’t let go. I fed it cheerios & milk.
I have some possums that visit my front porch. I enjoy watching them on my security cameras. I put food and water for them. Strangely their favorite is dry cat food. They are urbanized. 🥰
I feed porch cats and put cat chow out on a tray for them, and every now and then, a possum comes in elbow to elbow with the other cats, having some breakfast. They are relatively calm animals and are not very scary, but they feel out of place, and they leave if I look closely at them.

Thank you for the video. Opossums are great animals. We have them in various places (backyards, parks, around garbage bins, etc) quietly doing their lives, eating things we don't need nor want. Don't hurt them!

One more thing is that you can tell by their tail if they’re healthy or not. This one has a nice plump tail so he appears to be fine. But if you see one with a very thin tail chances are it’s sick so probably best to keep away from it. They have so much fur it’s hard to see that they are thin so use the tail as your guide.
