Okay. One cow on average can yield 1500-2000 burgers. Let’s start with the low end and say 1500. You say they sell 6.5 million per day. So 6.5 mil/1500 is roughly 4,333. Multiply that by 365 1,581,545 cows. Yea that’s a lot of cows. But, let’s see how many cows are in the USA. According to a report from the USDA as of January this year there were 86.7 million head of cattle in the United States. Of that 27.9 million are beef cattle. Australia has a comparable amount of beef cattle as well 27.8 million. Global cattle population is more than 1.5 billion. Beef cattle are harvested between 18 and 24 months. I’m not saying we shouldn’t question what McDonald’s puts in their bees. We should question whatever everyone is putting in our Beef however, the rate of consumption is not out of the question.
