I don't understand the Pope's logic in this regard? Every religious leader fights against evil! As a Christian I was taught that God is good and wants to destroy the evil in the world! In one of his articles he said that God doesn't accept the prayers of people who use violence and cited scripture to justify his statement. However, scripture also provides us with the way that God used violence to destroy the evil that was destroying his creation. The Bible refers to the locusts and Noah's Ark where God saved his creation from the evil that was destroying it! I believe that God played a huge role in the creation of the true Constitution of America! That's why it clearly states a separation of church and state in this country. He had the foresight to know and understand that our country would be his main source of salvation to protect his creation from the evil that wants to destroy it! And, history has shown that he was right! If not for our country over the past century, his creation
