Wow! this man calls himself a pastor but understands the Bible less than I do as a true believer and faithful servant of God. He should re read and understand that the Jewish people rejected God and the son of God Jesus Christ and in doing so they are no longer God's chosen people. It is true believers and faithful servants of God and Jesus Christ who do God's will that are the chosen people. Jew and gentile who accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and then do God's will are the chosen people and are the nation of Israel not someone born as a Jew but those who are born again in Christ.

If you go and really read what is said about God's "chosen" people you will see that was for the descendents of Abraham which ultimately became the nation of Israel consisting of 12 tribes. These were the Israelites. Judaism in a very specific form was their faith and religion. The Israelites lost the distinction through disobedience and were ultimately dispersed throughout the world. Modern day Israel is not the same Israel of the bible. It occupies a large portion of the original land and is occupied by people of Jewish faith...however these people are Israelis, not the same people or faith as the chosen. I have yet to hear of any single one of them that can trace lineage back to the original tribes. In conclusion I don't believe being from today's Israel and Jewish faith is what makes you God's chosen people. Faith in Jesus does that.
