the way I grew up when you're old enough to get a job you're old enough to pay the smallest bill in the house and also give gas money to get back and forth to work it's called teaching your child responsibilities nothing in life is free if her mother don't teach her this now never learn and she will grow up to be a sorry excuse for a woman don't expect nobody to give or do anything for you get out there and do it yourself
my sisters take all of my nieces and nephews paychecks. and give them $100-$150 from their paychecks. she puts it in a savings account. then when they hit age 19-20.. she takes them to get their own place with their money, show them how to pay bills. (if they don't go to college) my sister furnished their house with HER OWN MONEY.. SO THEY CAN HAVE EVERYTHING IN THEIR SAVINGS. MY WHOLE FAMILY DOES THIS WITH ALL THEIR CHILDREN.. IN OHIO, THEY CAN BAG AT KROGERS STARTING AT AGE 14-15.. SO THAT'S 3-4YRS OF SAVINGS THAT THEY HAVE... 🥰🥰 I'm 45 they did it to me when I hit 16.. got my own place a day after 18... my mom (adopted) furnished it. gave me my savings, showed me how to pay bills. and the rest is history..

I low-key agree with the mother. see, i live with my uncle and my auntie, I damn near make 3k every 2 weeks working security, I given them gas money an everything they don't have to ask am 19 and as a 19 year old or above u should always help your parents by any means. u are an adult, not a kid. My credit score is in the 800s because of my auntie. but don't mind that, sry😅. but always help your parents even if they're not yo parents.

I have to agree with this mother because when my kids started working, I told them the same you have to give up at least $50-$25 a week to put in the tank to get back-and-forth to work if you’re not gonna give it to me you’re gonna have to take a cab or Uber or Lyft you have to pay somebody. These are the first steps of teaching our children, responsibility, and that no one‘s gonna do nothing for you for free

Well as a white 55 year old I had to do this at 12 babysitting but now I’m so glad I learned about money and my own space without chaos it’s sad that a lot of older generation people raise their kids like that but in the end it pays off taught me to be independent. I still don’t ask my mom for a damn penny and believe me. He has a lot of money and she’ll die with her money and she’s miserable. I hope you take care of yourself, sis that sadness when you’re crying will be filled tears joy when you have your own one day keep your head up.
