note to men... not all women are clueless and helpless when it comes to cars. I guarantee I know more about cars and how to fix them then 50% of the men on here.
I have been a mechanic 28yrs and I will admit it women make better mechanics than men because they have more patience they don't get irritated as fast plus i have 3 daughters and everyone of them can do anything if not more than 90 percent of guy mechanics all the way down to adjusting turbo's out right with our performance scanner and laptop
It's obviously a broken Flux Capacitor, very common back in 1985 but rarely seen today on newer model cars.
Decimated sphincter valve (DSV). Should be replaced with a newer model with a tighter grip. Also, while you're at it, you might wanna lube and torque the cervical thrusting rod with a quick up and down motion... sometimes, they can become backed up if neglected. 👍🫵

owner manuals used to tell you how to adjust your valves. now it tells you don't drink the contents of the battery
it's supposed to be your gas cover lock so nobody can open it but something's going wrong with that so yes it locks your gas cover the one outside the car not the one you turn the cap to put gas in okay

That's supposed to open your gas hatch from inside your car or truck with the button inside your cab or glove compartment 👍

The gas cap is missing and that “little piece” is the locking mechanism for the panel/door which covers that area…
She's using the key fob in her hand to lock the doors and while locking the doors, it also locks the fuel tank door considering it's one of the doors.However, the door is open for the fuel tank and it can't lock it
Fuel door actuator needs to be replaced .
Turn up the radio and ignore it.
it's a gas cover ejector. when you hit it it ejects the cover to your gas cap so you can access your gas
