It’s a filter in the gas tank. I have this problem myself changed the charcoal filter inside the gas tank and you’ll have no problem.
Gas sending unit is out
Do this, Use "Your Head" a little common sense may tell you, THAT THE CAR IS OFF!!
why not go to the mechanic for the real answer, then you won't have to wonder or guess.
You got a bad float get a new one
You overfilled it buddy. that's why it's over flowing
The float in the tank is stuck
it's full. your gauge is broken.
Dude you need to stop it's full and if your car is reading empty the gas gauge itself has a problem. I'm an old woman and I know that.
Use your lighter to look down in the hole for a clog. I'll bet that's what it is.
As a mechanic for the last 20 years, you have a clogged siphonator and the only way to fix it is to start pouring sugar down it. The sugar helps to break up the debris and it will then let the siphonator siphonate again...seen it a thousand times.
Evap canister
Sniff in tank for ten minutes and your gauge will start working
what kind of car is it
the way tank is shaped might have that screen inside doesn't help... dude told me they are shaped like that is too cut down pumping to fast because of the foam created when pumping fast and won't suck up as much the inside the underground tank... try slowing down and holding handle up!!!
he might want to turn the car over to see if it's full the gas gauge goes down when you turn it off there's no electric going to the sensor is that simple turn the car over if it stops feeling then that means it's full if you're looking at it while it's off it's going to say empty
mine vehicle is always on empty and it takes gas even when it's on E but when it over fills I know it's full but I know it's the ball baring thar is stuck in the fuil pump.
It's called fuel level unit ain't right. you probably do have full tank of gas. your fuel level is wrong. you need to definitely get that checked out.
🤔I’m not a mechanic but the first thing I would check upon seeing that the tank appears full is my gas gauge. Or the mechanism (float ball?) in the tank that sends the gas level to the gauge. I certainly wouldn’t be splashing gas everywhere. 🙄
my best guess is the fuel level sensor on the fuel pump is bad. It could possibly be vapor lock or a clogged EVAP can, but if that were the case the fuel should eventually slowly drain down into the tank. If the fuel stands like that in the filler neck for several minutes, I'd bet it is the fuel level sensor on the fuel pump, but if the fuel in the filler neck eventually goes down, then it is likely vapor lock. Either way, your EVAP system is going to need repairs after overfilling it that much or destroying the EVAP canister by overfilling it previously.
I have a car like this. I have to watch the gas gauge. I just wait till it gets about near full and don't put any more gas in you have to. It spills out every time. I have to watch it on the gas gauge in the car.👍😆
looks like your screen down on the hose that goes to the tank is clogged! needs to be taken apart and cleaned! if that's not it your fuel gage is broken
Why not get that hole fixed on the inside of your gas opening cause it looks like you’re emptying the gas directly onto the pavement and try sticking the nozzle into the tank opening?
bought brand new car and when tank went to empty, it wouldnt take gas. i I'm blonde, so took a lot of crap about how to use a gas pump. But, ended up being a collapsed gas line....straight from manufacturer. hope its that simple for you.
It’s the fuel pump it needs to be changed. I had that issue. It would take me a literary almost 25 minutes to put $20 in my gas tank. It’s the fuel pump.
It has a air bubble in it, and you cannot put the gas pump in it so far you have to pull it down a little bit and gradually put that in there when you let it get empty
the float may be stuck in the bottom making the sensor say its empty. someone could have clogged the stem. could be a short in the dash board fuse.
either you have a full tank and your fuel gage isn't working or someone poured something into your fuel tank blocking the gas like insulation foam
maybe on new cars but I've never seen one of my cars have a charcoal filter or any of that bs. I have a fuel sending unit and thats it. then my fuel pump is external. some fuel pumps are in the tank. other then that nothing else is in my tank. after the tank all there is is fuel lines. they do not go into a separate box of any kind or filter.
clogged breather tube or charcoal filter. charcoal filters are not inside the fuel tank in my experience. it's in the breather system to stop vapors from entering the atmosphere. it's an emissions deal.
because your charcoal filter that filters the gas fumes is blocked up so when you pump air pressure goes into the SEALED TANK with a clogged vent will burp gas like this its a 45 min change out sometimes 15 mins
someone's stuffed it or your gas hands hung up showing empty or you've gotten the golden goose of card witch I doubt and e is enough
if that happens just pump it straight in through the motor. u should be able to do this through the oil fill reservoir. ur welcome
I put my car in the sun to warm up and found a long screw driver and poped the thing in there gently and it worked just fine
Did you buy it at a Customs and border protection car auction? Because if you did the tank motor got be filled with dope
😭it's called a charcoal box above your gas tank if it's called your car ain't taking no gas won't let it flow through
it almost looks like the vent for the gas tank is plugged and I have to drop the gas tank and clean out the vent
hmmmm perhaps hang up the hose and turn Ypur ignition key to ON, see what happens to Your gas gauge then !!
Put a screwdriver in it and let it vent. I have a mini Cooper and it does that the filter is at the bottom.
Usually the vent valve It communicates with the purge valve on the intake Normally set to an engine light
Obviously, it looks like your gas gauge. It’s probably not working so in other words, your gas is full.
See what Trump do for you so much gas now you can play with it
Gas gage is broken 😂😂
your gas meter is broken your tank is full
are you sure you're tank isn't full cuz it looks to me like your gage is broken and you need a new sensor
it's full the gas gauge float that is on the pump is out you need to change it
Then your car takes gas when it’s on F
Maybe cause yo tank full gang
It’s called spray foam inside and a pissed off ex
maybe look at the gas light after you turn your car on 😂
bad vent valve
lies
Vapor Lock
make sure your gas gauge is working first. It might be full and the gauge is wrong maybe.
i bet you it's a Hyundai
somebody shoved tampons in your gas tank
that means your charcoal canister is shot to hell
it looks flooded
Pinched or collapsed vent tube
