They're saying she's drunk, but the way she's acting it seems different that that. Some kind of psychosis. She's actually as if she's having a nervous breakdown. Her speech doesn't seem to be slurred nor is she stumbling. The combagiveness seems to come out of frustration.

where'd y'all get your phycology degrees or whatever y'all clearly don't have a clue and giving her an excuse is just as bad as her behavior she is an alcoholic/drug addict and even if she does have mental health diagnosis or not been diagnosed but has symptoms of a MI then she needs to hand over the kids to a responsible adult until she clearly gets the help in all areas needed before getting them back

something to do with the kids dad.... she was terrified when she thought she heard him and she made the comment, "I'm going to be admitted anyway. that's what men do to women in my situation".... so there is something wrong there. she is trying so hard just to make sure her boyfriend is able to come get the kids. I think she is literally scared for their safety and doesn't care about herself.

she doesn't appear to be drunk at all to me but some ppl can mask it better than others. regardless this seems more of a mental breakdown or episode of some sort. and if she had been drinking with it can definitely amplify it. I've seen it a few times none involving kids being there but the overload and break down which is usually what brings them to drink. ppl often drink when depressed to help them forget about their problems but it's not the healthy thing to do and ultimately makes their problems worse. she shouldn't have been driving while drinking no matter what though especially with children but im happy she stopped the car and seeked help even though she wasn't handling it well..
