yes it's a whole different one thing when you take somebody's life as a police officer on obviously something if you're human and you care about people you don't want to do that I sympathize with the police officer he was in shock

What happened?
I’ve seen where cops have been on the job 30 years and have never had to pull their gun and they said they didn’t know how they would react if they had to shoot someone. This could have been a new job for this guy or he could have been there for years and im sure this is the first time he has had to shoot his gun and it resulted in a death. No amount of training can prepare you for that feeling you feel after killing somebody. Even though he had no choice it has still affected him. I pray for him to find peace in this some how. Be strong sir 💕
They’re isn’t an officer out there that wants to take a human life not only because it’s taking a human life but the amount of BS that they’re going to have to go through afterwards both administrative and personal ( both mental and legal ).

If memory serves me correct, this officer is in intense "shock" because he had to kill his own brother. Gut wrenching story
yeah that first serious discharge in line duty can shake some people, that's why you need other seasoned vets who can spot this kind of thing! some get through it but this is just of the things that happen in the field
That’s why a lot of these police officers has ptsd. Sad. Let’s pray for them.

Shock is very difficult to deal with, ususally leads to PTSD. Back The Blue 🙏🙏🙏
once the adrenaline takes over n he had to take that shot his body licked down. shock, fear n sadness. he will see this forever when he closes his eyes. may have to give up being a cop. my uncle was stabbed by a drunk n had to shoot in self defense. didn't kill suspect but quit the force. good Christian man who didn't want to have to kill someone
love seeing this man care about his coworker. It's also nice seeing an officer feel bad for shooting someone even if the victim is a criminal and deserves it. These two are both good guys in my eyes

Thank You Lord for directing the other officers to come to his aid. Pray for him to come through it ok. 30 years in law enforcement and only twice did I come close to having to take a life.

A human being is a human being no matter what color or culture, glad God doesn’t think or judge like humans do.
They are just humans and the stuff they see and have to do sometimes is unbelievable
It's not normal to take a human life. This is not what we were created to be.
This is a true incident of Shock. He was in a fight for his own life, knowing he had to kill to stay alive. Now knowing he took the life of another person. Can you imagine how many men and women over the years experienced this when in war? They used to call it Shell Shocked. The military will release those who develop PTSD after experiencing this. Some never fully recover from it. Shock is known to shut the body down and it kills. Even after a vehicle accident or personal trauma situation. I hope this officer had a full recovery. 🙏🏼

I listened to a former officer who had to kill 3 times in the line of duty. He was a decorated sniper in the military and in war he had taken many lives but to take 3 lives as an officer he continued to refer to himself as now I am a serial killer. I constantly remind him he is not
He's going to need some serious counseling for years
I was a correctional officer and one of our instructors stated how they threw up and was physically sick from the shock of killing someone for the first time. Unless the officer is a complete psychopath, most don’t want to kill ever. They just want to keep the everyone safe.
I love how the other officers came in to bring him back to reality after his shock. Good job.

I pray that that man got therapy. because I believe being a police officer is very serious regardless of they say that police's are good cops or bad cops there are a lot of great cops out there and I believe that that man was going to be in shock about whatever just happened and they had to do what they had to do I pray that thing got him counseling and let him took some time off to get his mind together
