once the adrenaline takes over n he had to take that shot his body licked down. shock, fear n sadness. he will see this forever when he closes his eyes. may have to give up being a cop. my uncle was stabbed by a drunk n had to shoot in self defense. didn't kill suspect but quit the force. good Christian man who didn't want to have to kill someone

yeah that first serious discharge in line duty can shake some people, that's why you need other seasoned vets who can spot this kind of thing! some get through it but this is just of the things that happen in the field

and yet we never talk about trigger happy gang members who control the inner city areas. Gang shootings kill way more people then cops by far. Cops are just like any other organization there's always a few bad apples, we can't judge all cops by what a small portion of bad cops do. I myself have never but one time had a bad encounter with a police officer.

my heart goes out to this officer. this is something that never leaves. you carry it with you for the rest of your life. whether overseas in combat or in the states which I think may be a little rougher
oh my gosh that's made me cry not only the shock he was in and how you know he care about how all his fellow officers and brothers cared

Instant PTSD
I’ve seen where cops have been on the job 30 years and have never had to pull their gun and they said they didn’t know how they would react if they had to shoot someone. This could have been a new job for this guy or he could have been there for years and im sure this is the first time he has had to shoot his gun and it resulted in a death. No amount of training can prepare you for that feeling you feel after killing somebody. Even though he had no choice it has still affected him. I pray for him to find peace in this some how. Be strong sir 💕

yeah that's amazing that they train them to know that somebody else is in shock like that That's a good tool to like have in their training program because you know at any time I mean they're putting their life online and they're going to get in situations that are dangerous so knowing this officer was in shock and the man you know took the book you know took his clip and gun and everything and was saying you're going to be okay and all that they need that and I have to get props these are the real heroes that need to get the real recognition or real heroes like these kind of people out police force
