I've watched a lot of videos where police do badly and some good. Honestly, this one was awesome. Didn't make her do SFST's, didn't give her any crap, and was very respectful. 100% excellent interaction. Kudos to that police officer. Keep up the good work, and stay safe!

In July 2022, a woman named Samantha Peck called 911 to report that Illingworth was a drunk driver. Peck claimed Illingworth had a drink with her and a child in the car while at a Safeway grocery store. Woodland Park Police investigated and determined that Peck's report was false. Illingworth said that the report was politically motivated and tied to a recall effort against her husband, David Illingworth, who was on the Woodland Park School Board. Peck was among a group of people working to recall David Illingworth. Following the false report, Samantha Peck was arrested and charged with false reporting.

i understand. I had left early one morning to go to the store. I was gone maybe 30 minutes with a friend. I come home to the police in my front yard talking to my son ( who is an adult). I saw the neighbor from across the street standing outside in her front yard just staring at my house as we pulled up. of course my heart sank. I got out and the officer said they got a call that there was yelling and the blinds and curtains were moving every which way. that I was fighting with my son! I wasn't even home! the cops saw me driving up!! Also, I had taken the blinds down 2 weeks prior to this incident!!! I was always told she was a troublemaker in that neighborhood! I found out! circumstances led me to move!! thank God!
There are more good cops in the world than bad. The people who hate cops are using the ones who continue to get in trouble because they're doing illegal shit!

I am so happy to finally see a video of a very respectful, police officer in a very sensitive situation and a woman who knows how to articulate what’s really happening to her and her family. I feel confident that that police officer followed up with the false reporter!

Super happy that the caller was arrested. My husband was on a school board for about a year and it was terrible, everybody had an opinion about you, your family, what you drove, what you wore. No wonder people don't want to do open public meetings, it can be gut wrenching. Some people really need to get a life!!!

Did you see how she got that whole situation under control by just giving her identification when the police officer asked for it!? It makes more sense just give them your ID and let them tell you what’s going on much easier. Very respectful polite officer 👮 He listened to her and was able to hear and see that she was telling the truth. She did not give him hard time by cooperating. 🙏🏼There are really nice cops 👮 out there with good attitudes. They don’t let their job go to their head just because, they wear a badge. They are really out there to protect and serve. Not to serve and abuse especially, the system. My mom used to be a cop. She was sweet, but also applied the law when needed. I also have law enforcement in my family. They are not hard core. They can reason with you. 🙏🏼 Please. Comply with them. You have a better chance on getting away with a warning ‼️ depending on what you did wrong. 🥰

If the Police got a phone call from all these people complaining about somebody else they’d be too busy to go actually fight crime. They’d be pulling people over every two seconds. This just sounds stupid and for this cop they even do something like that. It just doesn’t sound odd. It doesn’t sound right is what it doesn’t sound sounds very wrong and for him to pull her over and then let her know that somebody had called on the telephone to report her for drinking and driving. I’ve never heard of such a thing, but it doesn’t shock me any you know there’s so much going on with the police today that would be the last person I’d call if I was in trouble I’d call a friend firstyou know because I at least I know my friend might do something and it may not be even justified, but yeah, the police they don’t even do their job anymore. They just exist. There is actually no serving and protecting.

According to what I read online she was arrested 2 wks later and charged with 3 felonies. After a 1 year court battle she was cleared of all charges.
