omg! just let the officer make sure everyone is OK. If it HAD BEEN the correct apartment, it would be normal for an abuser to say there isn't anyone hurt & try to keep the officer from coming in, etc. so the cop is correct in just checking to ensure everyone inside the apartment is ok. PLUS, the police officer remained very respectful. Why do people always have to be so resistant? IF one of those people were actually in trouble, they wouldn't hesitate to call the police for help & expect them to "do their job". So be appreciative that the police officer was doing his job in this instant. Why do people have to be so ugly to the officers, especially when the officer was polite & explained what was happening!?!?! Good Grief!

That falls under exigent circumstances so the cop isn’t wrong in this scenario. Yes he got the wrong house but he had to in case it was the right house.
