From Google- A Lummi Nation police officer was shot multiple times in an unprovoked attack by a suspect after responding to a single-car accident on July 28, 2025, near Bellingham, Washington. The officer, who survived the shooting, was attempting to assist the driver of a vehicle that had rolled into a ditch.
