Zero excuse for hitting your child with any inanimate object, especially a darn hammer!! That’s totally wrong, and I hope that guy first does some time in prison, I’d say 3-5 years incarcerated, and then second, he needs to demonstrate through monitored visitation, anger management, and probably some mental health counseling and support that he is safe around children. Unfortunately just looking at him, and hearing the ease by which the deception just rolled off his tongue in the very beginning of the interaction, I am fairly certain he is a sociopath, or at the very least he possesses some very clear sociopathic tendencies.
