The slave trade begin in Africa, with warring African tribes capturing other tribal people and selling them to slave traders in the African harbors. None of these slave traders were American ships. People of color selling other people of color who eventually ended up in the American colonies. White skinned people from Ireland and Oriental people were also sold as slaves.. Today, Southern history and the symbols of the Southern States are being destroyed and banned by ignorance. They accuse it is not history and heritage, but signs of hate. The South is blamed as the origin of the slave trade and negative treatment of other human beings of color. The Confederate Flag is being accused of being a symbol of hate, and it is being banned from public display. The memorial statues of Confederate Solders, are being destroyed and removed and the graves of Confederate Solders are being desecrated. Ignorance is a very scary thing. Here are some true facts that any one with an eighth grade education could simple research. The first African slaves arrived in the American Colonies in 1619. Therefore, in 246 years of slavery in America, the Confederate flag only flew for 4 of those years,. The rest were under the US and the British flag... Think about that when you want to start banning flags. In 1776 there were twice as many slaves in New York as in Georgia. The Civil War was never about slavery. President Lincoln said this on several occasions himself. Lincoln said the war was the result

They fear what they can’t understand, and hate what they can’t conquer…. Our influence continues to be felt worldwide no matter how much they’ve tried to keep us oppressed. And still WE RISE!!!

Who says the culture is the most hated? I for one love old R & B, Soul Train is in top 5 all time tv shows, enjoyed hanging at the barbershop when I had dreads, & will eat the hell outta some hoghead cheese, watermelon, & fried chicken. I love many parts of black culture, others not so much........

I yearn for a day when we will no longer look at each other for the color of our skin. Everywhere you turn, the media and articles like this fuel further divide. Everyone today is fighting so hard to be seen as an individual whether a people or a person, we are loosing our grasp of humanity. And with all of the comments here about the color of Christ and His people, every living person in this world, black, white, brown, tan, etc. is the offspring of one couple.

Well, all that sounds great, but the problem with Black people is that they will not acknowledge their God. History has been recorded in the Bible about Black people and their origins, and how powerful they can truly be if they humble themselves and seek God's face. The Bible says that God said, "If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face, they will hear from heaven, and God will heal the land." Black people do not know they are called by God's name. They have been called by every name except the name of God. This is why they do not realize that they are God's people. This is why they are confused, and this is why they will not unite. This is what the enemy actually wants so he can stay in power. The Bible tells us that God's people perish because of a lack of knowledge. The evidence is clear: the world is going to continue to steal from them, and they will never get the credit. The Bible tells us this is why they do not want you to read it.

In the Bible Solomon say "Song of Solomon 1:5–6 KJV : 5 I am black, but comely, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, as the tents of Kedar, as the curtains of Solomon."!

our teachers, astronauts, and others that continue the Black Excellence legacy, are neglected heroes, even by our own, yet the media likes to show the sexy red, shoplifters, carjackers and traffic stop videos that only serve to feed the hate against us, where we once were a united community, we're now a tribe that wars against each other.
